The Opal Dealer was established in 2018 by Alex and Keely after discovering our passion for ring making. From moissanite to Koa wood, a whole new world of possibilities was unlocked for our new inlay hobby. However, nothing quite caught our eye like Crushed Opal. This inspired us to open our own shop and share the joys of working with your hands with others!

Our love for opals has been the driving force behind our growth. What started with a focus on Crushed Opal has now expanded to include a diverse range of products. Today, we proudly offer Crushed Opal, Opal Beads, Opal Stones, and more!

As the hands-on force behind The Opal Dealer, Keely oversees all daily operations with passion and precision. From managing orders and customer interactions to ensuring every detail of our products meets the highest standards, Keely's dedication ensures that every customer experience is seamless and enjoyable. When she’s not crafting new pieces or curating our collection, you can find her exploring new opal designs or engaging with our vibrant community.

Keely's favorite Opal color is Ultra Violet, a stunning shade that captures her vibrant taste and love for bold, eye-catching hues!

Alex – The Visionary

Alex is the visionary force behind The Opal Dealer. With a keen eye for the big picture, he crafts our long-term strategies and drives innovation. Always on the lookout for emerging trends and new opportunities in the opal world, Alex’s expertise in ring making and commitment to expanding our product range keep us at the forefront of the industry. His creative insights and strategic direction are essential to our ongoing evolution as a small business.

This approach results in a much smaller carbon footprint compared to traditional gemstone industries.

Our production partners share our commitment to sustainability and climate action. They aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through energy conservation and renewable energy initiatives. Our gemstones are created in an ISO14001-certified facility, ensuring adherence to rigorous environmental management standards. The facility is equipped with an advanced wastewater treatment system to meet strict environmental regulations, preventing pollution of water bodies.

We are also firmly against child labor, slave labor, and any form of exploitation in our production process. Our mission is to deliver quality lab gemstones worldwide while upholding the highest standards of environmental responsibility and human rights.
